Starbucks Coffee

Our first time cruise with RCI, looking at different drink package. If I have the ultimate drink package which includes premium coffee, does that include latte and cappuccino from Starbucks? If not, where on the ship can I get cappuccino?

Thanks in advance!

What ship?

Saw that you are on Oasis. The Ultimate package does not include drinks from the stand alone Starbucks store. You can get cappuccino at the cafe promenade.

Thanks!

I am reading all these package details, somewhere confusing.

Am I correct to say the only alcoholic drink package includes specialty coffee (latte, cappuccino, etc) and fresh squeeze juice is the Ultimate Package?

If I pick the Select Package as my alcoholic package and also would like to have my daily fresh squeeze juice and latte, I would need to get the Select plus Royal Replenish?

With the fresh squeeze juice, are there any green juice available on the ship?

Thank you!!!

Yes the ultimate is the only package that has everything that you are looking for. Not sure what the total price would be if you did the select and the replenish but I suppose that it would be possible.

How much alcohol are you drinking. If you are mainly getting the coffees and OJ it might be cheaper to buy the replenish package and pay for the individual alcoholic drinks or the other way around if yo are only getting 1 OJ and a couple of lattes per day.

Haven't seen any green juices.

Consider waiting until you board...you may find some specials and be able to use any OBC you might have...and will have all the info explained to you clearly and your specific questions answered. JMHO ;)

Thank you so much!

You've saved me so much time to search around.

While we are on vacation, on average we will have at least 2 glasses for dinner and one to two cocktails during the show or in casino. During sea day, when we sit by the pool, we will most likely have at least 3-4 beers or cocktails. (gosh, hope we don't sound like alcoholics, we are on vacation :) )

With that said and not knowing the price per drink right now, is it a good idea to get the package?

When we cruised Celebrity, we had the Premium drink package and we loved it. But we had the classic package as a perk and only had to pay the difference to upgrade. Just trying to figure out if its worth it for us to do the same on this one.

Average about $12 for cocktails, $8-$10 for wine and $6-7 for beer. If you are only going to have 1 OJ and 1 or 2 lattes I would not bother with the replenish package.

Don't forget that the select package only includes beer and wine and non alcoholic drinks like juice and pop...no cocktails.

The fresh squeezed juice is Orange Juice, in the morning, in Windjammer.

There are no packages that allow you to get drinks from the actual Starbucks on Oasis. The packages that include "specialty coffee" (which means drinks from the espresso stand) allow you to get those coffee drinks from the NON-branded espresso place on the ship and, I've read, in the main dining room as well.

Select + Replenish still won't get you cocktails.

How much are drinks at Starbucks? Are they normal Starbucks prices, or heavily inflated prices?

And is there a Starbucks on the Independence? Would be a moot point if not.

No stand alone Starbucks on the Indy but there is a cafe promenade that sells some Starbucks products.

Prices are not way out of line.

you can pay as you go for fresh orange juice and lattes. You don't need to purchase another package

Get the package. Remember these drinks have gone up to $10-12 for standards. Wine is $9-12 for everyday wines, per glass. Beer has gone up, and sparkling h2o as well. My BFF and I have drinks pretty much like you do.We also have 1-3 specialty coffess a day. We did some math, and figured AlaCarte our tab would be with waters included about $100-120 a day. Also the gratuity is covered by the Ultimate package, so they are pushing us to get the packages, I think.

Thanks Ken!

Do those count as "normal" specialty coffees that would be covered in the drink package? I keep going back and forth on whether or not to get the package.

I think I need to search for a current price list and figure out how much we'd be spending if we did it without the package.

All these beverages would be covered with the ultimate package or the Royal replenish package.

It is only at the stand alone Starbucks on oasis and Allure that the coffees are not covered,
