Self Disembark Time

There are tons of cabs at the terminal which may be an option, especially if only going to the airport. The stevedores will assist with the luggage if needed.

Might be a good to book a car for a bit later as you will need to clear C&I and if a lot of ships in port, may be a bit delayed and there is usually a rush when disembarking is 1st announced.

Check cruisetimetables.com to see how many ships are in port with you. I agree with takeusaway that if the CBP agents are "spread thinly" the debarkation could start later and the line could get long.

I was the original poster on this. :-)

We did self disembark and was at the MIA airport by 9am, so we had plenty of time before our flight. We hung out in the AA lounge there until our flight departed since I had access.

We used Moveo as our transport provider both from MIA and to MIA. Great service, prompt and very reasonable. We had a newer suburban both ways which was great for our 5 suitcases :-)
