whatcruiseisnext Posted October 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2015 We just got off the Royal today.... Sitting in FLL airport now. I wanted to pass on that we were told by the staff at the captains circle party that both Alaska 2017 AND Europe 2017 would open for booking on December 3, 2015. I know this is much earlier than in prior years. :)

jasbo49 Posted October 31, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2015 Thanks for spreading the news. I'll be looking for something in May in Europe to celebrate my 10th anniversary of quitting the stinking coffin nails. Jim

Celebrity used to announce their deployments in March/April, and have moved to a November/December schedule. Their April 2017 - April 2018 deployments begin rolling out Mid-November. Glad to hear that Princess is doing the same. Any word on if there will be a Summer Caribbean ship in 2017 ? Thanks !

caribill Posted November 1, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Not a word was mentioned about summer 2017 Caribbean Since there were no Princess ships doing the Caribbean in the summer of 2015 or 2016, my guess is there will be none in 2017. john_galt Posted November 1, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 1, 2015 As a side note, Celebrity will be opening Alaska 2017 on December 1st for Captain's Club members and December 4th for the general public. Decisions, decisions!
Luvmyrotti Posted November 1, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 1, 2015 This is great news! We'll be looking for a TA repo back from Europe to the U.S. in fall 2017. I will be interested to see which ships are sailing in Europe in the summer of 2017. Hopefully it won't only be Royal Class ships. We are big fans of the Grand Class. Wehwalt Posted November 1, 2015 #12 Share Posted November 1, 2015 It will be interesting to see if the Pacific Princess is listed on either. It's my personal theory (based on zero info) that Princess will announce a sale of her sometime after the 50th anniversary cruise ends on December 17.
