Hi,

Unless you are deadset on going to the beach, let me reccomend the tour to San Jose. We did that and loved it! Check to see if it is still offered.:confused:

Limon is not known as being a beach destination; Playa Bonita has rather dark sand; I know that you can get a taxi to one. We did a private tour of the Tortugara Canal, a Bananna Plantation - Dole, stops for visits with 3 toed sloths and a view of Playa Bonita plus our driver took us to a local supermarket for purchasing Coffee and Vanilla, that I requested. He stayed with us and helped with currency conversion too. There is a tour brokers tent set up at the pier. Cars fit 4 people. We had a wonderful visit.
