I loved how rugged parts of the coast of Curacao was, it was strangely peaceful and tranquil to watch.

This is a place I could see myself just going to a sitting for hours to get lost in the sounds of the waves.

I did manage to pick up a few pieces of sea glass here.

From rocky coral coast, to stunning white sands.

Curious, where is this at exactly? Would love to go here on our trip to Curacao. Is this a ship sponsored excursion? Beautiful pics, kinda reminds me of Bermuda with the rocks.

This was a ship sponsored excursion. This was one on the three stops we made, we only had like 15 minutes here to look around and take pictures. I think I got the sign, I will look to see if it has the name of the beach on it.

Upon return to the ship we had about 3 hours before we had to be back on the ship. We at least wanted to see a little of the town. It was about a 10 minute walk to the ferry as the Queen Emma pontoon bridge was still out. We were told it would be but back into place the next day. Others have now reported that it is back in place and open. The ferry was free and got you quickly across to the main downtown area.

All too soon it was time to make our way back on board and head for Miami. We did have Halloween to look forward to, never sailed during that week. It was a blast. Would like to do another Halloween cruise. The ship did go ahead and set the time back one hour on Thursday night so that they would not have to deal with a time change on the last night of the cruise.

Final Thoughts:

Staff were fantastic the whole time, only one minor issue and it was fixed quickly by quest services, they sent someone to the room to fix it. Matt is a great and funny cruise director, always kept us laughing.

Food was plentiful, never went hungry. MDR we only went two night, Steakhouse one night and Cucina Del Capitano two nights, the other we simply went to lido and had dinner.

Guys Burgers were good, when you could get near the place.

Entertainment: I am one of the one that likes the Playlist productions. High energy and fast paced, we saw all of them this trip. Divas, Motor City and Latin Nights. I was hoping for Epic Rock, but not disappointed since we have seen it before.

Watched Pitch Perfect 2 one night on deck.

Bought the Thrill Theater Pass, the new adult scary ones were cool.

Bought the Social Internet plan, not bad for 25.00 but was very slow at times. Liked the Carnival Hub app, it did have issues staying connected to the chat feature which was an extra 5.00. But I liked all of the features on it, hope that it rolls out fleet wide soon.

Splurged and did a Bamboo massage on embarkation day as they were running a special if you booked and did it that day. So we both did.

Please ask any questions you have. I am going to scan the FunTimes and I will be happy to email them to anyone who may like to see them. Just let me know if you would like them.

Did you ever use the social internet plan to text message or iMessage? I was just curious if those messages were slow to go through as well. I was thinking of getting either the Social plan or the Value plan. Was it slow all the time of just in your cabin?

I will try to wrap this up today. Had an associate at work to pass away unexpectedly on Thursday night and trying to deal with that and make sure that everyone is taken care of and gets through the situation.

Just wanted to offer my condolences on the passing of your associate. Thank you for a wonderful and enjoyable review. It's much appreciated.

Facebook Messenger was very quick. The hub messenger was 5-25 minutes to send if it stayed connected.

First, so sorry to hear about your associate.

Next really enjoying your report, we did this itinerary in March and its nice to relive it. Plus got to enjoy Grand Turk this way, we didnt get to stop due to winds and choppy water.

imessage worked well. Hubby and kids used it on the Social plan (I had just switched to Samsung so I had to either use the HUB app or WhatsApp to talk with them) kids talked to their friends via imessage both on and off ship LOL.

Did the kids use their regular iMessaging app?

Will Carnival match any tour you find that's the same as theirs? I see you said they deducted $22 off of a tour u took.....Which tour was that again and did you pré book it before your cruise? Thx and Loved your Review and Photos

It was the Best of Aruba Island Tour, I saw it cheaper before we left, called Carnival as the Shore Guarantee form was not working. The lady took down all of the details and I got an email the next day with them advising that I would have $22.00 in OBC for the difference in the tour. You do have to book your tour through Carnival to take advantage of the Shore Excursion Guarantee. I just google shore excursions and look at all of the offering until I find one that I think they will match.

This is the third cruise that I have been able to find a tour less expensive elsewhere and get Carnival to invoke the guarantee.
