Rare MicCanberra Posted November 11, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 11, 2015 I went through the canal on the infinity in 2011. It was wonderful. I imagine the new canal must be almost finished by now.

Rare gogo65 Posted November 11, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 11, 2015 I just recently booked infinity April 2016, Panama Canal cruise. Problem is only inside or ocean view were available. We have one of the new ocean view rooms but would prefer a balcony. In fact I've since found a Disney cruise leaving similar time and balcony is less than what we paid for OV on infinity, was very tempted to cancel but the alcohol package is just to good to give up. (After doing two celebrity cruises, one with beverage package and one without) we also got bonus OBC for booking on board. Look forward to hearing about your ports as they are very similar to ours:)

Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 12, 2015 Author #19 Share Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/webcams-works.html You can follow the cams from this site. The expansion cam is well worth a look as you an zoom it around.Great progress. What a huge undertaking. History of the Ship Princess Cruises introduced the Coral Princess in 2003. The Godmother is President Mireya Moscoso, Panama's first female president. The Coral Princess is the first in the Coral Class. Coral Princess plies the waters of Alaska in the Summer season and the Panama Canal in the Winter months. Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 12, 2015 Author #20 Share Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) They are coming up to the Centennial Bridge. Unfortunately that cam is not working otherwise it would give a shot of Coral sailing under it. Still 2 sets of locks to go, Pedro Miguel and Miraflores before they reach the Pacific Ocean. From the crowd gathered on the front deck and the shadow across the water it looks like they are at the bridge. It will be hot up on deck. Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 12, 2015 Author #25 Share Posted November 12, 2015 Here they come towards the last set of locks. They have left Pedro Miguel locks and are heading for Miraflore. You can see the Centennial Bridge in the background.
