Pendle Witch Posted November 9, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 9, 2015 (edited) Hi. Whereabouts on Cunard's website does it say "search by stateroom number"? Hi, when I have added the number of cabins, then the number and names of occupants, at the top of where you choose your stateroom grade. Hope that makes sense. It looks like this Your stateroom location Search by stateroom number: Check availability Edited November 9, 2015 by Pendle Witch
Ray66 Posted November 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 9, 2015 So this when you go through the booking process? Maybe they mean that cabin number has already been sold.
Pendle Witch Posted November 9, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted November 9, 2015 I have tried adding the number of a stateroom which they are offering but it still doesn't work.
laktex Posted November 9, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 9, 2015 I have tried adding the number of a stateroom which they are offering but it still doesn't work. I think it gives you the staterooms available and then you just look for it on the respective deck diagram. There are some TA sites that locate it for you but I don't think Cunard's does that. bluemarble Posted November 9, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 9, 2015 It looks to me like Cunard's UK web site (cunard.co.uk) may be having issues with the stateroom search function. I tried searching for a specific stateroom during the booking process on Cunard's US web site (cunard.com) and it worked fine. But when I tried searching for the same stateroom on the same voyage using the UK web site, I received the error message about the cabin number not existing. WillH Posted November 9, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 9, 2015 I think you've hit it on the head, it's the UK website. Thankyou I think this problem has been around since the booking process on the UK website changed some years ago. I have never been able to search for a specific stateroom since then. The only solution has been to talk to my Personal Cruise Specialist / Voyage Sales at Cunard (or a travel agent I assume), who can check specific staterooms or give a list of available rooms in a particular category (more than the maximum of 8 you can see on the UK website).
