Bev Pkg upgrade: Can ONLY 1 PERSON UPGRADE?

Hi,

 

New to Celebrity...and...I have the Classic as a perk...

 

Just wondering since I like Martinis and LI Ice teas, Am I OK with Classic or need to upgrade??

 

Also, My wife would not need to upgrade. Is that Ok if only 1 person upgrades?

 

OR....will we be ok with Classic, since we're good with non-top-shelf spirits?

You will be absolutely fine with the classic package. You can get LI and martini's at all bars except the Martini bar. If you choose to upgrade, your wife does not need to.... enjoy!

The biggest difference for me is the wine. I like to order the better by the glass wines, which run higher than the $13 allowance, for which I only pay the difference. On the classic package, you would have to pay the total amount of any beverage over the $9 (9.50?) allowance.

 

I too like my Martinis and the Martini bar, where the premium package is a necessity for me.

And keep in mind you don't have to upgrade before you sail or even the first day. You can do so any time during your cruise up to like the last three days and just pay pro-rata. So you might wait and see if you are happy with the Classic.

Only one of you can upgrade if you like that. (I did 2 years ago; DH has no need)

 

BUT unless you like high end liquors or pricier wine, there is no need. (Even ONE glass of wine over the max classic price/day makes it worth upgrading to premium)

 

I drank martinis at the martini bar last year on classic--they just make me smaller ones! (I can still have as many as I want!)
