denas Posted November 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2015 I have a question. I have one cabin for myself and husband and one child and a second cabin for other two kids on the Pride. I was only planning on booking FTTF for my cabin and only because I want immediate access to my room. We will already have priority embarkation so I am not worried about the FTTF for embarkation (I know you need it for both cabins even for minor children). However, something I read made me wonder about getting off at HMC. We have a Cabana booked and even though we are a party of 5 (2 adults, three children), I was assuming we would all get priority debarkation for the Cabana together. My youngest child(5) is in a wheelchair and is tube fed, so we don't need snorkel gear or snacks for him so wasn't planning on paying the additional person fee. Something I read recently stated that we would only get the 4 priority tender tickets for the HMC? If we have the FTTF for one cabin (with three of us in it) and the Cabana with priority tickets, will we all get on the same early tender over? It really takes both adults to deal with my little guy to get him from point a to point b on a tender boat and my other kids aren't able to go over by themselves as they are minors (nor would I allow it). Since I am paying for a Cabana and FTTF, I just assumed I could somehow get priority tenders. I really don't want to buy another FTTF just to keep our group together for one tender ride!!! And my youngest cannot wait in a long line for a tender ride - that is why we booked the Cabana in the first place to have a place for him at HMC. Thanks for any help! lizardhowson Posted November 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Do you mean priority tender to HMC ? There have been previous threads about this and it has been stated that someone with priority tendering (FTTF) can take others with them (I believe one person stated up to 10 others) If you do try the search function, I'm sure you can locate the thread. Sounds like you should be good.
092306 Posted November 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2015 In our experience you don't need tender tickets when you have a cabana. You meet on the ship at a location designated on your cabana shore excursion ticket and you, husband and all children will be on the first tender. HawksFan74 Posted November 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2015 And my youngest cannot wait in a long line for a tender ride... Just be aware that priority tendering gets you priority TO the island, but not FROM. So, you may very well have to wait in a long line for the tender ride back to the ship. Elaine515 Posted November 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2015 You can take up to 5 passengers if you have FTTF so you'll be fine ... You go to Guest Services when ready to get off the ship and someone will escort you to the tenders. What I would suggest is go to the Excursion Desk as soon as your board as HMC does have one cabana that has a ramp instead of stairs which would definitely make it so much easier for you .... cb at sea Posted November 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2015 The cabana cost isn't "Per person"...it's for "up to" however many it holds...you may invite anyone you choose...and they may go with you!
KARTI1955 Posted November 12, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 12, 2015 The cabana cost isn't "Per person"...it's for "up to" however many it holds...you may invite anyone you choose...and they may go with you! That is not what OP meant. They are talking about tender priority with FTTF. Yes you will all be able to go together. You may want to check in with Guest Services to see if they will help you with getting to the tender area a little easier. The special GS line for FTTF does come in handy. Have a great time!
