Miami on January 1

Like a fellow cruiser just below, we're arriving in Miami on a holiday, in our New Year's Day. We'd also like to know whether restaurants, shops etc. will be open or not in the afternoon.

Yes, restaurant, bars and stores will be open.

 

We've been there several times on this date and it will still be a quite time in the city which we enjoy as well.

 

The holiday lights will still be on at night.

 

Still a very festive time.

Everything should be open.

 

Mostly stores and restaurants only close on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
