Jade's Houston departure?

Someone currently on the Jade posted last night on fb they were late leaving due to waiting on fuel. ..

 

That's ironic since the port is surrounded by oil refineries. "Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink," or something like that.

Not a shortage of fuel, but a shortage of barges. Experienced this problem many, many times.

Since this was her first US port call in several years, IIRC, there was probably either a USCG safety inspection/drill, or a USPH sanitation inspection that delayed things.

 

No, those items were done in Miami on the TA over from Barcelona.
