rickpo Posted November 23, 2015 #26 Share Posted November 23, 2015 Can't really understand what the fuss is about the small knifes, after all it very easy to get a knife whilst on board, you don't sign them in and out at the restaurants. Rare Host Sharon Posted November 23, 2015 #27 Share Posted November 23, 2015 CMV are also very slack about security. Both I am my friend have boarded their ships (I was on Discovery, she was on Magellan) without going through any security - with all our hand luggage too! Rare Host Sharon Posted November 23, 2015 #28 Share Posted November 23, 2015 Have to say this reminds me of the security arrangements when we went to Israel about 4 years ago with Celebrity. Security re the coaches and tours was not evident at all, but I don't for one minute believe that security was not very, very tight. To be honest, Israel is probably one of the safest places to be at the minute .... just my opinion. I agree about security in Israel, having been there twice on cruises in recent years. It was however somewhat evident when we crossed into Palestine to visit Bethlehem and two young men holding Kalashnikovs wandered up and down the coach aisle!!
