Bring water on board

How is NCL with bring water on board?? Carnival stopped letting people bring water on board, but they sell a 12 pack of 16 oz bottles for $2.99. I'm checking out the water prices on NCL and a 6pack is $27.08!!

We have brought a case of water on board with us on NCL before but I am not sure if they changed policy.

Thanks

I doubt it would be a problem so long as the seals are not broken. The safest way would be to take a 6 or 12 blister pack that clearly shows it hasn't been tampered with.

A single bottle with a broken seal could easily contain gin or vodka or any other clear spirit.

Remember all luggage, carry on and portered has to be x-rayed and they are on the look out for bottles.

We always bring a 12 or 18 bottle "case" with us on board NCL. It's never a problem with the cruise line, but some people have said the dock workers in some places refuse to handle it (I believe New Orleans was the one people talked about, but I'm not sure). We have taken water on board in Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Barcelona with no problems.

We also have a nylon duffle bag that an 18 pack of water fits into, and because it folds flat we always bring that if we need it. Usually, though, they will accept the water in the original shrink wrap with a luggage tag taped to it.
