dodger1964 Posted November 29, 2015 #26 Share Posted November 29, 2015 thanks, Steve. I did find them online but not in my local store. I guess I will try another Walmart location, otherwise maybe at an office supply store. I still have a few months before our cruise so should be able to find before then!Cathy I don't know if canada is different then u.s. stores, but u.s. stores have "free" pickup for items ordered online. So you can buy items not stocked by local store. i searched "magnetic clips' on walmart website and many came up.
upwarduk Posted November 29, 2015 #27 Share Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) Here is the link for Port Everglades: http://portevergladeswebcam.com If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you can find links to other web cams at U.S ports. In Sydney there used to be a web cam at the Rocks, but I haven't used it for a while. Rare chemmo Posted November 29, 2015 #28 Share Posted November 29, 2015 Thanks upwarduk, I will have a look! Last time we were in Sydney the cruise ship moored in with our room facing the opera house. We are in the same room next time but the ship now moors the other way. This could work out well for us waving but it will be a very early morning for the folks back home!
1SGCruiser Posted November 29, 2015 #29 Share Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) - Avoid X transfers, use public transportation or taxis to your next point.- Self Debark if you can. Agree with both of these. Public transportation is quicker, more convenient and cheaper when compared to cruise line transfers. Since we always pack very light, self-debarkation is less hassle overall - including the night before, and is always much quicker.
