Victory Thanksgiving Review

Just off.....Was 4 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 6. 2 balcony cabins on deck 7 aft. Loved them. Divider open made a nice balcony. The best top notch cabin stewards we have ever had! We each had a different one. Made our grandkids feel like royalty. Towel animals done in the morning and new ones in the evening! 3 in each cabin and had plenty of room and storage.

Food was great in the buffet. Dining room was good. Ate the buffet last evening. Chopsticks, deli, and pizza were fantastic. Burgers good too. No complaints. Some things just not so good...but you will have that anywhere.

Service in dining room superb! Again our waiter Elmer was a gem....

This ship has the best staff!

We had FTTF. No tender ports and it was still so worth it. Loved getting on/off ship with it. Had to go to desk 3 times for different things and one time the line was so long and I didn't have to wait.

Camp Carnival.....kids did not go every day but when they did, they liked it.

Build a bear was very unorganized. Also the games on the lido deck really need to be better organized and at different times. These were adult games. One day they had it at noon and had the people running around getting clues. With the burger/hot dog lines right there they had them running after toilet paper and teens knocked over a couple adults running in/out of the restroom. Thought it was tacky having them grab the toilet paper, but that was the worse thing on the whole cruise. They might want to rethink these games.

Grand Turk.....beautiful

Amber Cove...loved, loved, loved....want to go back!

Atrium is a little dark...and green but we loved the ship.

Towel animal class was good and our granddaughter loved the puppet show.

Saw Vroom show and it was just ok. CD was Brian Leavitt..sorry he was not very good, and never saw him.

The bands that perfomed at the casino lounge were always super good.

We would love to go on the Victory again. Family wants a cruise next Thanksgiving that has Amber Cove again, so unfortunately won't be on Victory.

sunlover5, Thank you for taking the time to post. Your post was very reassuring I made the right choice for our Dec.26 cruise. We,too, will be a family of 4 adults and 2 children 16 and 9. What room on aft were you in? We are going to be in 29 and 31. Glad to hear the divider opens. Makes it easier to go back and forth instead of out in the hall. We have FTTF. What time did you get to port? I'm thinking 10:30 -11:00? Thanks again. Gram
