KPfromCT Posted December 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2015 Interesting! First I've heard of that! Might encourage me to actually get off the ship in Nassau and check it out.:D:D LOVE the Margaritaville in Grand Turk. Split our time there, and then some at Jack's Shack.:D:D
LetsMakeWaves55 Posted December 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 2, 2015 This is awesome news! Just in time for my March cruise on the Pride, now I'll have somewhere to go in Nassau which isn't my favorite port.:D
SeaWatcher65 Posted December 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 2, 2015 I hope they have day passes. Looking forward to see if it will be a fun option for families. 10 yr old son with us but don't want to fight crowds and pay $$$ for Atlantis. scubagirrl Posted December 3, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Where on Paradise Island is it located? Located at the Paradise island Ferry Terminal. This is a bar/restaurant/pool only. Not a resort.
groundhog22 Posted December 9, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 9, 2015 Does anyone know if it has a pool area where you can hang all day like the one in Turks?
T.O.cruisers Posted December 9, 2015 #9 Share Posted December 9, 2015 Does anyone know if it has a pool area where you can hang all day like the one in Turks? Yes, it does. How do they charge to hang all day at their pool? I'm hoping to go there on the 23rd for the afternoon and stay for dinner.
WendyVF Posted December 9, 2015 #10 Share Posted December 9, 2015 I've been to ones on several different islands and they don't charge to hang in the pool. The expectation is that you will buy a drink or two or something to eat. Sometimes if they're really busy, they won't let you sit at a table without ordering food. Bibble Posted December 10, 2015 #12 Share Posted December 10, 2015 There are pictures posted on a social media page from their opening night yesterday. So glad to see it opened on time!!!! I plan to swim up to the bar in January!!!! :)
scubagirrl Posted December 11, 2015 #13 Share Posted December 11, 2015 The pool area is tiny. There are less than a dozen chairs. This venue is pretty small. I don't think I'd plan more than a couple of drinks here.

T's MOM Posted December 11, 2015 #15 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Has anyone been there yet, is it really as small as the pictures look? that would be very disappointing as most of the other locations are bigger and always a must stop during port stops. jdro Posted December 12, 2015 #16 Share Posted December 12, 2015 What is the difference between Señor Frogs and Margaritaville? Thanks Jennifer
WendyVF Posted December 14, 2015 #17 Share Posted December 14, 2015 You can walk to Senor Frog's from the cruise terminal Margaritaville requires a cab ride. Margaritaville has a small pool. Both can be a lot of fun depending on the crowd.

Rare CruisinCrow Posted January 20, 2016 #19 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Anyone have any updates or pics??? We will be there on a valentine cruise with RC;) Here you go! We ate lunch there last weekend after a Blue Lagoon excursion. Our hamburger was excellent. I definitely wouldn't plan on hanging out in the pool all afternoon. Like Scubagirrl said, it's small. It would be nice for dip or something.

Cowcrazy65 Posted January 22, 2016 #21 Share Posted January 22, 2016 What would be the best way to get there for 6 people? I think that would be the only reason we would go to that area. I got the impression walking could be a bit much, a high busy bridge??? THANKS!
Rare CruisinCrow Posted January 22, 2016 #22 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Just grab a taxi and tell the driver you want to go to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal. The taxis are vans so there will be room for 6 people. $5 a person (plus tip). When you're ready to leave, just ask someone where to catch a taxi back. You could also walk across the street to Marina Village and see the huge yachts and a closer view of Atlantis.
Cowcrazy65 Posted January 22, 2016 #23 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Gotcha! Thanks for the info! Can you see anything of Atlantis?
Rare CruisinCrow Posted January 22, 2016 #24 Share Posted January 22, 2016 You can see some of the outside of it but not much of the inside except the casino area and shops. It's worth checking out, though. There are some really pretty glass sculptures in the casino and a giant throne that makes a great photo-op.
