Cost of CPP Standard Plan ?

We are on April 27 doing the 18 day Vancouver Hawaii Vancouver on the Zaandam its about $ 7200,00, does anyone knows what the appr. cost for the CPP standard Cancellation is, both of us are 82 years old, thanks,

I would go in and do a pretend booking on the Hal website. I think it should give you the amount when you get to a certain point. I want to say it's about 10% but I'm not sure.

 

Edited to say I just looked and the standard plan looks to be about 10%.

We get the Platinum Plan and it is about 11%.

So 10% sounds right for you.

When I saw this thread I had to go look and the Platinum plan for us was also just a tad below 11%

It's not a fixed percentage, but increases in steps of about $500 of fare price. I was looking at a table just a couple days ago, but now I can't find it for you. I'll keep looking.

 

I can tell you that your age doesn't make any difference - just cruise length and fare price.

I went and did a dummy booking for your cruise. When I got to the page where you enter guest names, the CPP prices are shown in the middle of the page, above the question whether you want transfers.

 

For a cat D cabin at $3099 pp the Standard CPP is $269 (8.7%) and the Platinum is $359 (11.6%)

 

For a cat BC at $4799 pp the Standard is $379 (7.9%) and the Platinum is $529 (11.0%)

A simple call to HAL will get you the exact information you need. As it happens I had to do that this AM as my TA is out of the office for the week. HAL gave me the prices with no hesitation.

Assuming $7200 is the cost for two, the standard plan is $309 per person. Platinum is $419 pp.
