smileyface1948 Posted December 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2015 We just booked this ship out of Tampa for November 2016. We have a verandah midship. Can anyone recommend a good cabin with a larger balcony? We have tentatively chosen cabin 6099 while aboard the NA last week. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. crystalspin Posted December 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2015 If you are in 6099 you are in a Signature Suite (SS). Your balcony is exactly twice as wide as mine on the Westerdam in Verandah 6091. If you want a larger balcony you will have to upgrade and up-pay to a Neptune Suite... Signatures are definitely "sweet"
joepeka Posted December 8, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 8, 2015 (edited) If you're looking at an SS (which 6099 is) and you want a seemingly larger balcony, you might consider one of the cabins with the kind of zig-zag shaped balconies (6117 or if you go up a couple of decks 8094 or 8099). The bonus of those (besides the weird shaped balcony) is also that you get a little more space in that corner of the cabin near the balcony door. Compare 6099 and 6097 on the deck plans.

We had 8099 for our October Panama cruise and loved it. The balcony was larger than normal because of the "bendy" configuration. It has two rattan chairs with ottomans, a patio sized table. (About 36" across) and two more chairs. While it is under the far end of the lido we did not get any noise and frankly enjoyed just running up the stairs to grab a coffee to bring to the cabin in the a.m. as we are early risers. But 7071 is a Neptune Suite! so just as you said.
