shoppergirl10 Posted December 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Hi My son would like a GoPro 4 silver edition for Christmas, wondering if it's worth waiting til I get on board the Reflection at Christmas to purchase. Thanks! Karen
awhfy Posted December 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Regular price, no deals onboard. Better to buy it like at Best Buy (they're on sale there this week)
WEGL81 Posted December 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2015 The only advantage to buying onboard is no sales tax. Other than that, GoPro is like Apple products- same fixed price everywhere.
Burpelson Posted December 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 8, 2015 I guess it would depend on if you have OBC, if you can apply OBC to the camera, and if you'd otherwise apply the OBC elsewhere. Then compare that to any sales... You also have to figure out your needs as there are several models, and they frequently come out with new ones - which may explain some sales. Research, research! wendychloecruiser Posted December 8, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 8, 2015 We did our homework prior to our last cruise....it was much cheaper to buy a GoPro (all models) from Amazon.
Maligator Posted December 8, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Look around and you'll likely find packages with free stuff (memory cards, attachments, etc), too. I saw an ad this week with such a deal directly from GoPro. The only benefit in buying on-board is no tax.
