evanderm Posted December 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Hello Everyone, Wondering if the collective wisdom of the board can help me out. According to the Miami Airport website, there are check-in desks for Celebrity Cruises in two locations at the airport. Our cruise leaves out of San Juan; but to get there, we are connecting at MIA. We have an almost 5 hour lay-over so I was wondering if it would be possible at all to get the check-in formalities for the cruise taken care of during this time. Potential problems I can see are; - Cruise not leaving from Miami or Fort Lauderdale; - Cruise leaving the next day. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. I will also try to report back here with my experiences. Personally I'd rather rent a car and do some exploring; but my travel companions aren't very keen on leaving the airport. At least the Admirals Club stocks free booze  Thank you. E
dodger1964 Posted December 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2015 I've never heard of checking in for cruise at airport. San Juan checking is pretty organized. It won't take that long and u will be onboard. Have a great cruise.

E There are situations where you can drop luggage at airports - Anchorage if taking a Celebrity shuttle to Seward for example - but checkin need to be done at the port. Cannot imagine you could checkin in Miami for a San Juan cruise. Enjoy the Admirals club!

Rare Keith1010 Posted December 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 9, 2015 As others have said you can't check in for your San Juan cruise from the Miami airport. Keith
