downundermatt Posted December 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2015 As Celebrity die hards we are looking forward to our first Cruise with Royal in February (even if we the only two on the roll call). My query is about the activities on the Quantum - the website indicates zip lining, rock climbing and Flow Rider are all free (included in the price). Am I correct in assuming the other activities you pay a fee for (such as North Star, Seaplex Bumper Cars and Ripcord?) Really appreciate it if someone can let me know the approximate price too. Cheers
Coralc Posted December 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2015 Bumper Cars, Northstar, Ripcord, all free as well. I have read that one flight on Ripcord is included. Additional flights may incur an extra cost.
Yorkvillain Posted December 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2015 FYI - the zip line is only on the Oasis class.
Alter Ego Posted December 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2015 No zipline on Quantum class.
CrusinAgain Posted December 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2015 All activities are free and Anthem has a Break-Out Room (the locked room where you look for clues to get a code to get out). All included. Plus they have trapeeze, xbox, basketball, ping pong, pool tables - all indoors and all included with cabin price.
JMG Posted December 19, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2015 (edited) Some do require reservations...Ripcord is an example. Check online and see if you can reserve before the cruise. When we cruised, it was "sold out" before we got onboard. We had reservations for 9am and several people failed to show. Those that could not get reservations were in a standby line. Many of them managed to get a spot. If they have changed procedure and no longer do pre cruise reservations, definitely go as soon as possibly and try to make a reservation. Definitely a worthwhile experience! Edited December 19, 2015 by JMG
tiger-91 Posted December 26, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 26, 2015 Might be temporary but they just announced guests on Quantum of the Seas will now be charged $20 for a ride on North Star or $26 for a 1 minute Ripcord by iFly flight. story: http://feeds.cruisecritic.com/~r/site/cc/news/~3/TtgnTfE2q2Y/news.cfm discussion: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2291676&highlight=quantum
