First time cruising with autism child

We are going on a Royal Caribbean cruise in March. I've cruised before, but this time I'm going with 3 newbies, one of which is my 4 year old son with autism. He is pretty high functioning. My biggest concern is that he will only drink milk. Is milk complimentary on Royal? And do the rooms have mini fridges? I thought about bringing a gallon of milk on board with us. Any input would be appreciated.. Thank you.

Yes...milk is avail. at every eating venue.....and you can take some little cartons back to your cabin....you'll have a fridge that will keep it cool for a few hours.....longer, put it in the ice bucket...ask your cabin attendant to keep you supplied with ice. Or, order it from room service!

No need to bring milk!

I was going to suggest contacting the special needs department and requesting an actual mini fridge for your room vs the one for the "mini bar" because that just keeps stuff cool vs cold like milk should be.....

if one is not available you could store it on ice like others have suggested....or maybe he would drink powdered milk that you just add water too?

I was going to suggest the same thing as the previous poster :-) the fridge in your room only keeps items cool it definitely does not store milk appropriately. But when contacted ahead of time they can replace it for you typically. And room service can always bring it to you fresh :-)
