Favorite Carnival port of call

What is your favorite Carnival port of call you've visited and why?

first choice is Cozumel=we walk off the ship, walk through the port, turn leftt, walk up to El Cid and spend a wonderful day snorkeling, enjoying the pool, and dining, all within view of our ship.

 

second choice is progresso-best port for Mayan excursions.

 

we must be weird, because our third choice is Belize, but we love two things, beautiful water to be in, and history. :)

St Thomas just so we can get the fery to the beautiful beaches of St John

St Thomas because I can go to St John and hike to my favorite Caribbean beach, Salomon beach...

Both are great beach days.

 

Key West third. I enjoy walking around.

Grand Turk - I could spend days on end just basking in the sun at Jack's Shack! I also really liked Aruba; would have loved to spend more time there.

Key West on Carnival because not all cruise lines have port stops there. :)

3rd is without a doubt Cozumel

It's so nice to get off and not be herded through a terrible tourist trap Bazarre/Market.

 

I love to get off and rent a bicycle right there at the pier and just go explore for the day (i.e. head to the half shell raw bar for oysters and beer!).

Half moon cay for me. It anywhere with a beautiful beach is good with me.

Barbados...the island is beautiful to tour then end swimming with turtles !

Aruba. 1st place I have visited on a cruise that made we want to book a land vacation to it. A very clean, laid back island. No pushy vendors and beautiful beaches. Best part IMO though is it is more arid than most islands. No muggy humidity - important to someone like me from the dry dry dry West.
