I give up...

My wife asked me a question this morning and I can't find the answer so I have come for help. She wants to know what drinks are included for FREE and when with the cost of the cruise in freestyle dining. On a past cruise several years back she was able to get oj all day (different cruise line) then a few years later it was only available during breakfast (same line). We have never sailed NCL before and I've searched their site and can't find out anything so if someone can shoot me a link or just fill in our blanks it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to sailing on the Star 1/10/16.

We've sailed with them 10 times in the last 5 years, and I have to tell you that I don't have an answer...............even though I am not a drinker. I'm guessing that a quick phone call to NCL will provide the best answer. I can tell you that it hasn't seemed to be a problem for me. I'm usually well hydrated while on the cruise.

The lemonade is sugar sweetened, BUT, you can check the containers when you see staff filling the dispensers (which they do frequently).

The ice tea is gross and a syrup type liquid. It is unsweetened. I make my own ice tea with tea bags- which is easy with half a cup of hot water and a few tea bags of your choice. Then pour over ice. Lemon and several sweeteners are available. This is in the buffet. I don't find the ice tea in the dining rooms on NCL, fresh brewed either, but only my opinion. (I usually drink hot tea- fresh brewed). But the ice tea looks too dark to me to be fresh brewed, so my reasoning.

oh bummer, i don't like the brown water, i prefer brewed. i guess i will just bring some on or make it like you suggest :)

i'm going on a charter, so no drink packages were available, and in any case i don't think pelligrino or perrier was included anyway.

i usually despise ice water so i'll bring on some green tea packets.

Thanks SeaShark, I had already read all that hence the title of my post. That info is rather vague to me. Some juices can cover many many juices so how am I supposed to know which ones they mean? Also there is no mention of lemonade which apparently is available. I love tomato juice but my wife only drinks oj. Neither of us like prune juice, cranberry juice as well as others. That is why I was asking. I realize it may vary from cruise to cruise depending on what they can get the cheapest. It's never been a problem before and I don't anticipate it being one this time but I am a planner type person and don't like loose ends. lol Also thanks to all who replied about the lemonade!

Sorry, my bad...I didn't realize that you already found that information and were just looking for some clarification on a couple of minor points.

When you said "We have never sailed NCL before and I've searched their site and can't find out anything" in your post, I took that to mean that you looked at thier site and were unable to locate any information.

I won't make that mistake again.

Coffee, tea, ice water and milk all day and with every meal. Juices at breakfast, orange, tomato and cranberry. Flavored water all day in the buffet.

The orange "juice" isn't really juice as much as some kind of orange drink.

We were satisfied with it, but didn't want OP to think it's real juice, even though NCL lists it with their juices.
