Carnival Left my XMas Stocking Empty

Been over a year since I have had any offers on my account. I booked two cruises with the casino offers December of last year and January of this year. We also sailed Carnival last May and have another cruise this January. Sure would like to get another offer, guess I gotta see if I can rack up points in the casino, but to do that I have to win money as I don't spend a huge amount. No idea how I managed to get 1000 points on our Liberty cruise, but haven't done it again.

I believe it. My PVP is working from home this week. But you would think that since they were able to put out this latest "sale" that they could also go ahead and post the next round of Casino Offers.

Hurry up, Carnival. I'm itching to get back on a ship. Quite frankly at the prices that you want, I am super tempted to go back to Celebrity unless I get at least something off the normal fare.

Don't get me wrong I love Carnival - at the prices that they have been offering the past few years. That's one of the main reasons I came back to the brand. However, I'm not willing to pay more for less. Did you ever think that the reason your ships are sailing full is BECAUSE of the prices you have been offering? With all things being equal or slightly more at the competition, I think you will find the majority of the clientele will move elsewhere either for the first time or once again. Brand loyalists excepted. Then the vicious cycle will start all over. You will be forced to cut amenities and prices to bring customers back, etc.

My point: BRING ON THE CASINO RATES! A bunch of us are waiting to book. If you wait too long, you might not see us again for awhile. Thanks :)

With all due respect, begging for special discounted cruise rates with threats to take your business elsewhere if you don't get it seems quite contradictory to the earlier part of your post.

Assuming ships are sailing full soley because fares are perceived to be "low" is a narrow viewpoint, usually from someone accustomed to snagging all those cushy casino deals. When they, and other promos, dry up people begin to reevaluate the value of the fare they are paying.

I understand where you are coming from - fares are on the rise all over the industry. When a line's bookings appear to be weakening, out come the fare reductions, promos and perk offers. One must wait for that to happen. Right now, it's not.

I'm itching to get on a ship again as well. I'll be patient and the reward will be sweeter when it's for a price I am comfortable paying. :)

I can assure you I don't get "cushy" casino deals. It's the lowest one they offer with $25 casino cash. Usually a couple hundred off. And I am not "threatening", just stating a fact. I don't see the value in paying the rates that Carnival is currently offering for their product vs the competition.

I know Carnival monitors these boards and would simply like them to know that I have some people that are serious about booking and we are looking to lock something in VERY soon (and it appears that I am not alone in this thought process). Like within the next week. So I am hoping that they get the next round of offers out within that time frame. My decision on which cruise line to book will be determined by the offers I get or don't get from each company.

I just got my 1st VIFP offer of 2016. It's a "Cheers to our Past Guests", and offers a $25 bar OBC each guest, max. two credits or $50.

Since I don't drink alcohol, I'll have to wait for another offer to come by.

Yeah that one popped up either on December 30 or 31. My PVP said the new casino offers will post Jan 4. You could always use it for BB.
