thecruiserofships Posted December 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) I had the opportunity to see the Liberty of the Seas docked in Galveston today, December 27, 2015. The ship looks larger than I had expected. I was just in Galveston for a visit and not there to cruise. :( Here are some pictures I took today: (Note: I am providing a link to my personal blog here that has the pictures just incase the pictures don't load or I screw up posting: http://www.embarkandaway.com/general-cruise-blog/liberty-of-the-seas-docked-in-galveston-a-look-at-the-ship. Hopefully you will be able to see the pictures below, but if not I wanted to give everyone a way to still see them instead of having a wasted thread without pictures.) I hope you enjoyed the photos! Someday I may look into booking a cruise on the Liberty of the Seas. NOTE: If the pictures aren't loading please let me know and I will keep trying! glamourpup Posted January 5, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 5, 2016 We were visiting Galveston the very same day and couldn't resist taking a few pictures of Liberty as well. We sail on her in March, and it will be our first RCCL cruise. I wonder how that sail away went on 12/28 though, a huge storm hit Galveston late in the afternoon. Hope the seas weren't too rough! It looked like the Disney Wonder got a bit delayed coming into port the next day as well, since we could see her sailing in around mid-morning from our hotel room.
