Formal Nights & Tendered ports

Hi I'm sailing on the Summit on Jan 9th. 7 Night Southern Caribbean

 

Does anyone know what evenings will be formal nights ?

 

What Ports are Tendered ? We are visiting Barbados St Lucia St Maarten St Thomas I'm in a wheelchair so just trying to plan in advance

Celebrity does not have formal nights anymore, they are called "Evening Chic" and the dress code has been changed because of it. When they had formal nights the formal nights were usually on day 2 and day 6 on a 7 day cruise although that is not etched in stone.

You should have no tender ports. We have never had to tender at any Caribbean port.

None of the ports you are visiting require the use of tenders. There are a few ports in the Western Caribbean that do require them as well as some of the private islands in the Bahamas.

Has something changed with tendering?

 

St Maarten and st Thomas have been tender ports (infrequently) in the recent past. We were scheduled to tender a little over a year ago in st Thomas but another ship had some kind of delay and freed up a spot for us (just two days earlier cruise directer was still talking about tendering)

Neither of those ports are tendered....

 

Your itinerary should say "docked" or "tendered".
