The pirates are coming....The pirates are coming :p

 

I thought this boat was odd coming so close to the ship because it wasn't the Pilot boat and the guy standing out front was like something from a movie

 

 

 

Anybody know what this boat might have been??? It wasn't the Pilot Boat because he come along the side later on

So Laura come to find me to let me know that everyone was going in for dinner. She knew that I was having a moment so we just sat there together until I was ready to leave.

 

We had a big group tonight for dinner.....Josh, Stu, Jordin, Laura, Marky, Alana, her son Conner, Pam, Robert, and myself. It was a fun group for dinner. We had a celebratory toast to a fun and memorable cruise with friends.

OK now back to our regularly scheduled programming.....

 

So for dinner I didn't really see anything on the regular menu that I liked so I decided to try this beauty off the Steakhouse Selections menu. The Filet Mignon was so good you could cut it with a fork

 

So after dinner I went back to the cabin....Stu was putting away the souvenirs that he bought for his nephew in Progreso. I tried on the Mexican wrestling mask....what would my Mexican wrestling name be

 

So after dinner we headed down to the Atrium Bar because tonight was our Krewe Krawl around the ship.

 

I was so happy that Amanda and Jerry surprised me by coming on this cruise to be there for me

Our first stop on the Krewe Krawl was Dukes Piano Bar where we ran into our favorite bartender...Mignon. We had a round shots

 

So that ends Day #4 on the cruise and our port day in Progreso....we had a fun day staying onboard. Next Up is our last and final day onboard :( :( :(

Me neither but I will more than likely finish it up today at work. But I'll be back in mid-February with my photo review from my cruise on the Dream.

I leave for New Orleans two weeks from today.

We did have an amazing time on this cruise. I was surrounded by amazing friends. Josh is a trip. He is definitely the life of the party

Yeah it sure is. I figured that it would happen on the cruise at some point. My dad always enjoyed sitting out on the outside promenade decks to watch the water go by. It was truly one of his favorite places onboard so it's only fitting that's where I would feel his presence.

Now I know the KREWE didn't just make it to one bar on the KREWE KRAWL. Who got wild? Who hooked up? Who got drunk and pissed their pants? :o Easy to do with the cheers package!

Hahahaha no we made it to 4 bars onboard. But my camera died after Duke's. We were all pretty wild. I'm not sure about any hookups but I know that we all had fun. And I can tell you that I hit my 15 limit on Cheers package that day

So our final day onboard was a sea day. No one ever likes to see this day come. We all decided to meet up in the Atrium at 9:00 am to head to the Sea Day brunch together.

 

I tried the Peach Bellini instead of my usual Cruiser for breakfast. I didn't like it so I gave it to Jordin. Mignon made me a cruiser and didn't charge it towards my 15 for the day

 

None of us looked too perky this morning and we definitely weren't ready for the cruise to end

The ship was already decorated for Christmas and it was so pretty

Josh and Stu had never met any of my friends in the Krewe before this cruise but they both fit in so well. They have both already booked the Krewe cruise for 2016

 

 

So here is the joke with this note. Josh always joked with Mignon that she made the drinks so strong that she put a "roofie" in his drink. So on our last day at breakfast Josh ordered an amaretto sour and the bar waiter brought back his drink with this note.....haha

The sea day brunch wouldn't be complete without dessert. I tried the double chocolate brownie...it was too rich

So after breakfast we all split up and went our own ways for awhile. I decided to do a walking tour of the ship and get some pictures of things that I hadn't seen yet

 

My first stop was at Duke's Piano Bar

 

Mignon found me....haha

 

Next up....I wandered into the theater to catch the end of Towel Animal theater

As I was walking back up along the Promenade someone stopped me and said that I needed to stop at the Drama and ask for Savoi.

So we all met up in the Atrium Lobby at 6:30 pm to head into dinner. We had a good group tonight at dinner. It was great to end the cruise with a farewell dinner with such a great group of people.

So after dinner many of us headed up to Dana and Sam's room for a farewell drink with the Krewe. Dana and Sam were in a suite so we partied it up out on the balcony.

 

And we never got our Muster Maidens pic on the balcony so we modified it this year.

So quite possibly my favorite picture from the cruise was a group picture of the Krewe from our meet and greet. I knew going into this cruise that I was going to have moments where I would miss not having my dad with me but I knew that I would be surrounded by friends who love me and know what I have been through the past 2 months leading up to this cruise. I was so blessed to have each and every one of these people with me. People in this picture are more just friends...they are my family.
