Question about checking in

I am sure this has been asked but I am unable to find the threads.

When is the earliest we can check in? Port is Tampa

When will our cabin be available?

Does Royal have a program like Carnivals Faster to the fun?

Thanks!

No FTTF on Royal.

Staterooms available around 1:30pm.

Check-in starts 10:30am-11am. Boarding usually begins between 11am and noon, sometimes earlier.

Generally speaking - 11:00 you can be on the ship.

1:30

RCCL does not take $60.00 from you to get on the ship 10 minutes faster. Most people have a very small carry on bag and do not lug cases of soda or water around but rather just check their bags. They also manage their lines more efficiently so no need to jump to the front to save a few minutes (and pay for it). If you want to get on faster you can sail multiple times and you will be rewarded with boarding faster if you arrive at 10:30. Arrive later and you will just walk on first come first serve.

Thanks!

We have had a couple later than 1 pm, and about 1.20 or 1.30 pm. Better to think 1.30 pm and be pleasantly surprised if it is a little bit earlier. I know it has never been before 1 pm in my experience. (Sorry not Tampa though :) )

Carol, yes for most ships it is still 1. a few have gone to 1:30. I believe the Enchantment was 1:30 the last time I was on it, and a few more are too...

Jewel and Navigator I can say for sure are still 1pm

Freedom was posted as 1:30 when we were on a couple of weeks ago, but cabins were not ready

until 1:40. Boarding was early at just before 11:00 am.

As mentioned, I believe it is the ships that are different, not really the port as far

as cabins being available with each ship having a different crew.
