When you book a tour, online, with Carnival, is your credit card charged immediately?

Does not matter, either way, just curious.

Yes, it will be charged, but like you say either way it has to be paid, its nice paying for something and going on the cruise not having that bill afterwards.

As lyndamr said...Yes it will post to your CC when you book it on the website. Just purchased an excursion for my cruise.

Funny- they charge it immediately. But if you cancel the excursion in the time allotted, while the cancellation is immediate you won't get your money back for 7-10 days.

Yes, they charge you immediately. Nice thing though is you will have a smaller final bill when you leave the ship.

 

If you have OBC you may want to wait until boarding to book unless it is a tour that routinely is fully booked prior to boarding (such as the horseback ride on HMC). That way you can use your OBC to pay for it.
