Wondering your experience attempting to book cruises thru Harr/CE Casino comp vouchers?

Mine have been hit or miss.....

Either get right thru, or usually LONG waits in que only to have agent hang up.....by accident of course.

Ever get a booking right thru?

We are traveling on these certificates about 4 times a year. I try to call very early in the morning and generally get through in a reasonable time. It's definitely touger if there is a special promo going on that's about to expire. Then I would expect a longer wait time. I haven't ever had a disconnect. Usually the Casinos at Sea agent asks for my phone number at beginning of call presumably to contact me in case of disconnect.

I have done several of the Harrah's/Caesars cruises on NCL, but I haven't actually used any certificates for them. I have an offsite Caesars host that's a regional director and whenever I want to book a cruise, I just call or email her and she takes care of all the arrangements for me. I just booked one today for a May 29 sailing on Breakaway to Bermuda.

We have used certificates from Harrah's often, as well as booking directly thru CAS. We were just curious and wondering if there a difference in play required when booking each way, and how it effects future comps. Safe sailing

We get 4 or 5 balcony cruises per year from Harrah's/CET. Cruising that often, I have gotten Hot and now Golden status from CAS. However, my best offer from CAS directly has been an inside cabin for selected short notice sailings that they needed to fill cabins for.

There is no requirement to play onboard when you are on a CET certificate but we usually play at a much lower rate than we do in Vegas. To get comped cruises directly from CAS requires a higher theoretical or actual loss on your prior cruise(s). I was told by a CAS representive a loss of $2000 to $2900 qualifies you for an Inside cabin on a 7 day cruise of your choice (except POA). $3000 to $3500 for Oceanview, or over $3500 for Balcony.
