Powdered Gatorade?

Can you bring an unopened can of powdered Gatorade in your checked luggage? I'm not sure why you wouldn't be allowed to, but Carnival has some silly rules.

The reason for the silly rules is that lots used to take and remove original fluids and substitute alcohol, many different varieties of doing such. So much so that Carnival and to put the brakes on allowing plastic containers. A smile YouTube search can show you how creative people can get to break the rules....

I bring the packets of Crystal Lite, and I also bring D'Vita Cappuccino (powdered). I bring 4 cans of the D'Vita on the longer cruises but I dump the powder into a quart size baggie. Takes up less room. There's no "rules" that say you can't bring on powdered Gatorade, koolaid, etc. I refuse to pay what Carnivals wants for a cup of Cappuccino.
