John, Yes I did about 20 pages back and about 45 days ago. I have since posted the officers of the Jewel since I just got off of her.

Hi all, I have seen a few mentions for officers on the Jade. I will be sailing on her January 15th from Tampa. Does anyone have a full list of key personnel who will be on that sailing? Also any tips in relation to the best restaurants etc as never sailed on the Jade before. Any names & suggestions will be much appreciated. Six weeks and counting down, so excited.

I am going on the Jade tomorrow, and also on your cruise on Jan 15. I hope I remember to post a list when I get back next week.

I am sailing on the Dec 29th 2016 gem. I did see the list for the 11/13-11/20 sailing. I am wondering if that crew will be the same for our sailing. If anyone can please let me know I would appreciate it.

 

We go next week so we'll make a note.

Lots of staff changes coming on most most of the ships over the next couple of months. Those that have had Christmas and New Year will be coming back from vacations and others will be going. Also those heading for Germany in March to open The Joy will be getting vacations first. As of now, I have not seen an official press release as to who the Opening Staff both Bridge and Hotel made yet. I know who a couple of staff members will be but until it is officially announced, I can not and will say anything.

Isn't Jenny Lim slated to be HD of Joy? She is terrific!

We just returned from 31 days on the SUN.

This was one of the BEST group of officers ever.

 

This was also one of the best cruises ever.

 

Captain Richard Amazing - friendly, always around chatting with

guests. Loved him.

 

HD Brian Walters He is called a legend for a reason. 47 years with

NCL. Always around the decks also. Very

friendly and lots of fun. A true gentleman.

 

F & B Vesna Campos We met Vesna on the JADE. Great lady.

Always there to help. She left on 11/19

Rumi Khatao Arrived on 11/19. We knew him from the STAR.

Another awesome officer who was always very

helpful.

 

 

Exec Chef Prejith Sukumaran The BEST Exec Chef ever. I wanted to take

him home with me. He's moving to the

DAWN for one contract. Lucky for DAWN

passengers. He's always around in the

restaurants.

 

Restaurant Mrg Mihaela Mocan We've know Mickie since days on the DAWN

and she is still amazing and fun. Love her!

 

Exec Housekeeping Hal Broomes We've known Hal for many, many years - back

on the STAR many years ago. Awesome -

friendly and lwe love being with him.

 

Cruise Director Roberto De Pasquale Roberto was a ball of energy. He was always

everywhere. Great CD.

 

Guest Services Claudia Condurachi Met her a few times. Seems nice.

 

 

Beverage Mgr Winchester Barracks Nice man, but very quiet. Always had a smile

but never said much.

 

Group Services Coordinator Giannina Pedraza Only one that did not impress me. I ran the

CC Meet & Greet. She was unorganized and

1/2 of our group never found the meeting

when they moved the location because of

numbers.

We had no tables and it was all a big

disappointment.

 

Concierge Carlos Zarate Carlos was busy, busy, busy all of the time.

He checked on all suites every evening and gave

great lists of things to do in every port.

Super Concierge.

 

Butler Constancio OK, but not great.

 

The maitr'ds in all of the specialty restaurants were amazing especially

MADE in Le Bistro (knew him from previous cruises) and all were friendly and helpful.

The Exec Chef for Specialty Restaurants - Andre Nogueira was also amazing.

He watched my special diet and checked on me every day.

Andre is moving to the GEM.

 

Main dining room chef - Perry - also amazing.

 

Hope this is helpful for those heading to the SUN.

They are an amazing group that obviously work very, very well together.

 

***Sorry about the overuse of the word AMAZING, but it is all true!!

CD is Drew. Haven't had him before. Elivina off as concierge to 1/22. Patrick Berido is on as concierge - we've had him before and like him. While in terminal some old guy yelling at him about who knows what, basically the guy came into the area and started demanding stuff and Patrick was dealing with other pax. Guy asked for his supervisor - whatever.

 

Teodoro a butler but not hours. We have Rolando as steward - nice young man. Ahmet is courtyard butler - also very nice.

 

Roshan is our butler - haven't met him yet.

 

Will post other crews as we find out.

I just emailed the Concierge Desk with a few questions regarding our Jan 2nd Breakaway cruise. I asked about Anoop. When I hear back I'll let you know. But as of right now, he's still on vacation.
