Please don't flame me for asking- as I'm sure it's been answered 100 times already. I have the old UDP (not the SDP). Does that cover the upcharged items in the MDR?

This question was just asked by PixiedustDawn on the Gem and she was told no. I asked her to ask since we'll be on the Gem in April. I was hoping we could take advantage of the upcharged items in the MDR since they are also available in the Specialities but it's a no go. It would have worked well for us since only 3 of us have the UDP and the other 8 people don't so we could have eaten with them and not "wasted" our UDP.
