Hawaii/Vancouver Sea Days

We are cruising to Hawaii from Vancouver this April. For anyone that has taken this cruise before, how cool are the sea days? Did you have any pool/shorts days or are most of the days spent inside?

 

Any thoughts or comments about what we might experience would be appreciated. :)

Doubt you will have any shorts days until the last day or two before arriving in Hawaii.

Think the first and last couple of days may be on the cool side. Lots of places to hide from the wind on the Star, so a couple extra towels to stay warm and you'll be fine.

I've been on the Hawaii cruise out of LA, and it was cool the first couple days out, and the last couple sea days back. I always have a light jacket with me, so I was fine. I did not feel it was warm enough to be swimming those days, and with the wind on deck - you'll want more than a sweater, I'd think. The ship is always cool anyway.

I heartily agree with the comments above. Be prepared for rough seas. It can be rough, but also calm, but you'll never know in advance. If someone in your party is prone to sea sickness, make sure to pack meds!
