BIG_Steve Posted January 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Stupid questions, but here goes anyway. When you buy say an hour of internet time, is that 1 hour across the whole cruise? Or 1 hour by the clock? When you hit the end of the hour, does the connection just shut down? Or does it automatically renew until you log out? How fast (or slow) is the connection on Divina? I mean from a practical perspective, not the posted bandwidth and bit rate. Can you buy 1 block of time, but use it on different devices? Thanks. Crzyfrk62 Posted January 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2016 You can by blocks of time, the more you by the cheaper it becomes. So if you buy 1 hour it might be $15 but if you but 5 hours it might be $30. You can use your time however you like during your entire cruise stay. 15 mins one day, 30 mins 2 days later. You will see various packages for purchase and even some specials. Speed was very good. Just make sure you log off. If you do not log off properly time will continue to run. Everytime you log in you will see the remaining time. When you time is up it will shut off, you will get a message asking if you'd like to add time at that point. Homosassa Posted February 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2016 The question on if you can use the block of time on more than one device hasn't been answered. If you wish to use the internet on either a lap top or cell phone, can the same block be used or does a block of time need to be purchased for each device? joseph123 Posted February 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2016 This is good to know. I too would like to know if I will need to purchase a package for each device or idk the minutes can be shared across multiple devices. If someone could let us know it would be appreciated. Rare Cruisergal1208 Posted February 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Hubby bought the smallest package and we each could use it but only one at a time. He would sign off and then I could sign on. Used it to only quickly check email messages.
