jeffbrig Posted July 6, 2016 #51 Share Posted July 6, 2016 Tom, I'm also planning to book a standalone BVE on the Royal or Regal when they come back to FLL for the Caribbean season. Assuming you plan to use the credit on a future booking, it's essentially "free", and a nice opportunity to check out a new ship you haven't been on yet. Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted July 6, 2016 #52 Share Posted July 6, 2016 We're doing it on Regal in NYC in October. Even if we don't apply the future booking credit, it's a chance to see the new ship and decide if we would be happy on something that large -- and a nice lunch at a reasonable price (for NYC!) Astro Flyer Posted July 7, 2016 #53 Share Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) Today I called about booking a BVE however being more than 120 days in advance it wasn't available yet. They said we'd have 90 days to use the $39 fee to book any future cruise. We're hoping to be able to get the BVE for family & the agent read the BVE rules. Since we're sailing on that cruise we could board with the BVE passengers. We have elite priority boarding so we'd only board a few minutes earlier & we can enjoy the MDR lunch.
