swindy Posted January 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Does anybody know where this information is accessed? It used to be on the voyage itinerary page but is no longer there. If there is no information does it mean there are no Lecturers on that particular cruise?
Rare WesW Posted January 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Swindy, if the voyage you're interesting in is sailing soon you click on the voyage (e.g. Papeete to Sydney on the Whisper, link below) and enrichment link is the near bottom of the page. Click on the plus sign besides enrichment and the lecturers vitae appear. Hope this helps http://www.silversea.com/destinations/australia-new-zealand-cruise/4603/?ga=list Edited January 23, 2016 by WesW
swindy Posted January 23, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Wes Thanks for that but nothing is showing for our voyage 1607 on the Cloud
Rare WesW Posted January 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Your welcome. Searched like you did on SS voyage #1607 but could not find any enrichment lecturer information just the one sentence bullet that the all inclusive says: Enrichment lecturer and/or destination consultant. Suggest asking your Travel Agent to contact Silversea and ask, or if you booked direct--ask your Silversea customer service representative to check for you. Seems peculiar to me less than 90 days and no enrichment information is hot linked.

If there is no information does it mean there are no Lecturers on that particular cruise?Wes: Thanks for that but nothing is showing for our voyage 1607 on the Cloud We are on the Silver Cloud for #1603. Many month ago, they had the names of the destination speakers posted up till early January for the Silver Cloud. BUT, things have NOT been updated for later January, February, etc., cruises. I did find out the name of the speaker through a person on these Cruise Critic boards for our Feb. 2-12 South Africa cruise, was able to contact him, set-up dinner, etc. Seems like he will be excellent with his background, personality, interests, etc. My conclusion? Just sloppy standards for getting that info properly placed on the website in a timely manner. I will write up on our cruise evaluation that this needs to be done in a more regular, consistent manner. Like with any business, some "things" are always a top priority to get done promptly. Other items are important, but not always consistently done as quickly as some would like. Keep pushing!! Some in certain management do not always appreciate the value for keeping the website promptly updated. THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio Enjoyed a 14-day, Jan. 20-Feb. 3, 2014, Sydney to Auckland adventure, getting a big sampling for the wonders of "down under” before and after this cruise. Go to: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1974139 for more info and many pictures of these amazing sights in this great part of the world. Now at 134,304 views for this posting. oregon50 Posted January 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Let us not confuse enrichment lecturer with destination speaker. Lines often blurred by this line.
Rare TLCOhio Posted January 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Let us not confuse enrichment lecturer with destination speaker. Lines often blurred by this line. YES, agree that it does get blurred in talking and thinking about the differences between an enrichment lecturer versus a "destination speaker". There are differences. For me, however, both are important and helpful with our cruise experience in learning more and knowing added details about where in the world you are visiting and exploring. We highly value that "learning experience"!! THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio From our Jan. 25-Feb. 20, 2015, Amazon River-Caribbean combo sailing over 26 days that started in Barbados, here is the link below to that live/blog. Lots of great visuals from this amazing Brazil river and these various Caribbean Islands (Dutch ABC's, St. Barts, Dominica, Grenada, etc.) that we experienced.
