New beds for Coral Princess!

My wife asked Princess what was being done to the Coral during it's refit this January, as we're booked for the Feb 5th. She contacted them on their Facebook page and they responded as below:

Great news, although we cruised on the Coral in November and found the beds comfortable enough in a mini suite.

Just off the Ruby Hawaii cruise. The mattresses were definitely new. I took the UST and it was mentioned that during dry dock putting in new mattresses was one of the things that was done. Although new, I preferred the "slightly older, newer" pillow top mattress on the Star that we had on our end of October cruise. The new Ruby cruise mattress was a bit stiff for my liking. However, it was much better than some of the saggy old mattress we have experienced in the past.

 

Mattresses are pretty subjective so YMMV. Good sleeping whatever mattress your cruise may have.

By all accounts the CORAL is getting the new beds.

Yeah! Glad to hear about the beds. We will be on the Coral on Feb 5th and I love being rocked to sleep on a new mattress!

I can't wait to hear how people like the new mattresses. I'll be on the Coral in May, and am super excited.

 

Royal Caribbean has put new mattresses on many of their ships, and they are HORRIBLE, like stone slabs :mad: I sure hope the ones Princess is buying are comfortable.
