Lido Coffee Cups

I always go to the "dollar" store before a cruise and pick up inexpensive large size thermal mugs ($2 each last time). They save multiple trips to the coffee machine, we toss them when we leave giving some extra space in the luggage for doodads and trinkets, er, mementos.

I take my thermal cup from home and stuff it will little things that are going in the luggage anyway, that way I can bring it back. :)

The Nieuw Amsterdam has very large mugs at the place settings on the table; someone will pour coffee for you.

I don't recall what the mugs at the coffee machines are like, as I bring my own HAL thermal mug with me.

I pack a few little things in it going to the cruise. Coming home, it works great as an extra layer of padding for some small, breakable things (like Pinnacle truffles. ;)

We like to use our mugs right up until the very last moment (i.e., before going thru airport security). That leaves them a bit too "wet" to stick in the carry-on...
