rumpelstiltskin Posted February 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Will be disembarking from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal, & embarking on Celebrity at the City Cruise Terminal that same day. Will have a couple hours between disembarkation & Celebrity check in at 11:30. Is it possible to drop off the luggage with Celebrity before checking in, so that we may explore the town for 2 hours? If this is not possible, are there left luggage facilities available in town? I read on another travel website that Oceans on High Street, & also Seacity Museum do. But those posts were from about a year ago. However, no fees or luggage restrictions were posted. Any advice will be very appreciated.

I would post this on the P&O UK forum - they will all know everything about Southampton.
KirkNC Posted February 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2016 We have not done this at Southampton but have many times at other ports. Just find the porters. I would wait until 9:00 or so to do the drop off.
Kitekat Posted February 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2016 I cannot be absolutely certain about this but having dropped off/picked up parents and sailed ourselves from both these terminals (and others in Southampton), I would say yes it is possible. As suggested by KirkNC, I would not go before 09:00. (I've not done this but...) it is feasible to walk between the two. There won't be shuttles between the terminals and you would need a taxi to get to the edge of Southampton as it's quite a walk and will be filled with cars, taxis, coaches and delivery vehicles at that time of the morning.
