jadephoenixx Posted February 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) Hi All. We'll be on the Regal for the Apr 3rd sailing and Hubby's birthday is during the cruise. I would like to do something to surprise him but still keep it private. We have Anytime Dining so I know if I update the Cruise Personalizer, I'll get a card for his cake and can request no singing, which is perfect. My question is about the birthday sign and balloons - will it be a problem if I ask our Steward to put the decorations inside our cabin instead of the door? Anyone else done this? Thanks! cruisemeaway Posted February 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) When our son turned 21 on the Dawn Princess my sister decorated our cabin for him and our table in the dining room as well. It was awesome and leaves quite a memory. She even had a captains hat for him to wear and the ship's captain came down for pictures with him. Don't know how he knew about it but it was very special. Especial since our son passed away a few years later from complications with cystic fibrosis. I say do it if you can. I am with you... make all the memories you can. Sometimes when it is all said and done, that is what you walk away with. My condolences.
