Cruise Arizona Posted February 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2016 The Disney Dream deck plan has Triangles in some of the rooms, An I am assuming that this refers to the bedding configuration, however I have yet to find a deck plan on any website: Disney, Cruise Critic, others where the key defines this graphic. Does it mean a Pulman or a Murphy bed?
Ex techie Posted February 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Do you mean these triangles? If so, on this deck plan it means a connecting Stateroom. http://disneycruiselineblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/DCL-Deck-Plans-Dream-Fantasy-October-2015.png HTH's! ex techie
MCC retired Posted February 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Triangle means triple/quad occupancy . The little arrow thing between cabins means internal connecting door.
Cruise Arizona Posted February 4, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted February 4, 2016 An online booking will let me put 4 people in either a cabin with no Triangle or with a Triangle, and no where where does the key tell me what that means. Does it mean a pullman?
Ex techie Posted February 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2016 An online booking will let me put 4 people in either a cabin with no Triangle or with a Triangle, and no where where does the key tell me what that means. Does it mean a pullman? The deck plan doesn't tell you if it's a ceiling pull down bunk or a pullman. Are you booking through the DCL website? ex techie
Ex techie Posted February 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Triangle means triple/quad occupancy . The little arrow thing between cabins means internal connecting door. That depends on which deck plan you are looking at. The one I linked to above the triangle indicates it is a connecting Stateroom. ex techie
ArthurUSCG Posted February 4, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2016 The V shape between rooms indicate connecting room doors. I am thinking the Triangle is the direction the Queen Bed faces.
Ex techie Posted February 4, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 4, 2016 But oddly the rooms that are not connecting do not have the triangle? ex techie
ArthurUSCG Posted February 4, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Yea, Looking at it more..... maybe DCL is trying to emphasize which rooms connect.
Ex techie Posted February 4, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Cruise Arizona, What Cat room are you booking and what are the numbers? ex techie
Cruise Arizona Posted February 4, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted February 4, 2016 That is two angled lines with a part of a circle connecting them. Some of the cabins have a solid black triangle in them and some don't. No where on the key does it say what that solid triangle means.
ArthurUSCG Posted February 4, 2016 #12 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) I think the triangle is tiring to emphasize the 2 connecting rooms. Basically, Look here dummy. It looks like only connecting rooms have the triangle. Edited February 4, 2016 by ArthurUSCG
Cruise Arizona Posted February 4, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Ok that makes sense because the only cabins that have that are all connecting, but it is counter intuitive because every other cruise lines has a dot, or a square or two dots or something that tells you what the bedding configuration is. If it let me put 4 in will it definitely have a pullman?
ArthurUSCG Posted February 4, 2016 #14 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) All rooms will have a Queen and a couch that flips over to a normal twin. If you can book 4 people then it can have either a pull down bed next to the couch or a upper bunk bed over the couch. If you can book 5 people then it will have both the pull down and the bunk bed. I wish DCL would add what the bed configuration is. Edited February 4, 2016 by ArthurUSCG
Ex techie Posted February 4, 2016 #15 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) If you look at the link I posted above: http://disneycruiselineblog.com/wp-c...tober-2015.png at the top above the deck plans it pictorially shows you the configuration for most Stateroom categories and gives you a small description stating whether it is likely a pullman or murphy bed. ex techie Edited February 4, 2016 by Ex techie Edit to add pic's
