Mumblez82 Posted February 8, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 8, 2016 Interested in this for a cruise I have in May. Should I call the upsell number or is there a better number to call? Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk

Nola26 Posted February 8, 2016 #28 Share Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) Personally I would prefer the cost of the cruise to be $100 less and then I would have the choice to spend the $100 in the Casino if I wanted to. Mike Downgrade your cabin to reduce your cruise price. We all make choices. The casino is offering a $100 in value, not $100. You don't have to accept the promotion. This is a way to also potentially introduce more people to the casino that may not have typically visited. Same with the others $50 Shorex is only good if you book through NCL, so they claw back the 3rd party money or get me to spend when I might have stayed onboard. Specialty will introduce my family to new places and could alter our dining habits for future cruises. These promotions encourage some to book and are an investment by the cruise line. NCL isn't working on ways to reduce the money coming from our pockets. Edited February 8, 2016 by Nola26
sfaaa Posted February 8, 2016 #29 Share Posted February 8, 2016 More lines should offer more of this, even higher dollar value... large majority of people won't be clever enough to cash out asap and will just lose the money. But they have fun losing the free $100. How bad can this be?

As it is NCL generated would you be able to "cash out"? I suppose you could take the $100 in tokens and then, a couple of days later, exchange them!! tempus137 Posted February 8, 2016 #31 Share Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) I don't know if this still applies, but it used to be that you could only use the chips for table games. If you lost, they took the chip. If you won, they took the chip and just paid you your winnings. For example, you played a $10 free chip at blackjack. If you won they paid you $10 & took the free chip. You were not able to cash in the chips at the cashier, you had to play them. tropical83 Posted February 12, 2016 #33 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Hello, Does anyone know if this $100 per stateroom, or $100 for each guest in the room?
hawkeyetlse Posted February 12, 2016 #34 Share Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) Hello,Does anyone know if this $100 per stateroom, or $100 for each guest in the room? It's $100 per stateroom, divided between passengers 1 & 2. luvmylilangels posted the terms of the offer earlier in this thread (see here). As for cashing out the credit, the terms also say: Free Slot Promotional Play is in the form of non-cashable slot credits and Free Table Promotional Play is in the form of promotional table chips, each has no cash value and is non-transferable.Non-transferable is kind of a joke, who's going to stop you? But you cannot turn this credit into cash without playing it first. Edited February 12, 2016 by hawkeyetlse
