Wedding on Princess

My friend is getting married on a Princess cruise in March. I would like to do something special for them to make it more like a wedding than just a cruise. We will be on the cruise with them. Any ideas?

Are they planning a wedding on the ship? It is not uncommon for guests to attend a wedding and either sail with the newlyweds or leave the ship after the ceremony and whatever reception they have.

What about the ultimate balcony dinner? It is an amazing dinner served by waiter in a tux on your balcony. They serve it by course and then come back so there is no hovering. Great food and drink and a photo as well.

We had a wedding party on board our cruise ship leaving Fort Lauderdale last year and a plane flew over with a large banner wishing them good luck on their marriage.

Pay for a shore excursion they you know they would like but wouldn't spend the money on. Not for me, but a couples massage.

You can send a flower arrangement to their cabin. It can be set up in advance (1-800-PRINCESS) or thru the Passenger Service Desk on the ship.

I was married on a Princess cruise a few years ago. I agree about the balcony dinner, it was awesome.

 

Some other ideas that weren't mentioned... if there is a group of you going on the cruise with the couple, maybe getting a photographer to take some extra photos of you all together (outside of wedding photos).
