Anyone receiving Free Cruises from Casino

Casino offers are capacity controlled. What is available to you can change during the period of the offer. I got a free inside cabin bounce back offer last month on the last night of my cruise. When I got home and checked online what was available, I picked a sailing after checking airfare prices. When I attempted to book the cruise, that sail date/ship was already gone. By the next day though there were more ships/sail dates available than what I had originally seen in the offer online. When I saw one I was interested in, I didn't wait but booked it immediately through my PVP.

So keep checking online until the expiration date of the offer. Availability can change at any time--either for the better or the worse.

So there's a chance more choices will be added day by day? I already have a sailing date/itinerary in mind.

I received a phone call from my personal Carnival travel agent informing me that I had a "free" offer. I asked him if there was anything in May in Alaska and he looked and said no. Then he told me that he had one cabin available for The Vista, 10 day Barcelona to Athens. I Booked it. I have received several offers for free cruises , inside cabin. Premiere cruises at a discount with $700 casino cash. We are leaving on May 14th on the Vista and our cruise price was $389 for both of us and $100 on board spending. I would love to go on a premiere cruise as I have heard that they are lots of fun. Maybe someday soon.......

Hi,

I received an offer almost like yours from my PVP an am taking advantange of it. I could have sailed on the Vista to Barcelona, 10-days, inside cabin, for $125pp. Instead, we chose a b2b on the Splendor and we bumped up to a balcony. Still very minimal price. It pays to answer your phone when Carnival calls and to answer their e-mails:)

Enjoy your cruise! I know we will.

  • 2 weeks later...

I recommend, If you don't understand how you are rated at table games, after playing for 15 or 20 mins ask the pit boss.

What you buy in (cash or chips) or cash out has little to do with your rating. It is average bet placed and length of time played.

Can you earn said "bounce back" cruise offer on a 5-night cruise??

Just wondering - have been enjoying NCL Casinos at Sea offers for the last several years but recently decided to redeem an offer from our land casino for a Carnival cruise - wondering what to expect in a few weeks on the Valor...

Yes, you can get bounce-back offers on any length of cruise, you just have to earn enough points. Sometimes it may be at the discretion of the casino host and so less points may get you an offer than on a cruise with a lot more gamblers. We always get one but usually can not take it because you have to book quickly and being in education we are limited to when we can sail. We usually wait for the Pack N Play offers which are not free but are a good deal and cover a lot more sailings.

Free cruises are not free from a casino. Nothing is free from a casino. Worked in one for years dealing with people's ADT. Average Daily Theoritical LOSS. The basis for all offers sent to people. You receive what your losses qualify you for. In other words 'what you have paid for', period. You may protest all you want but it is not just the physical dollars that you pump into a machine or bring to a table but the 'winnings' you turn around and give back to them.

I have dealt with many people over the years and had them claim to be winners when a quick look at their play would show losses.

My favorite line from years of talking with patrons was the woman that called and asked in all seriousness:

"How much do I have to play to receive a free buffet?". I seriously wanted to tell her that her loss would have to be $25 plus average per day to get that 'free' $13.99 buffet.

If you want to play, go for it but stop deluding yourself. You pay for all your 'freebies'.

So the only way people are receiving these offers are for casino play? Mannnnnn I cruise at least 3 times a year, but I don't play in the casino. I may spend only 20.00 on a 7 day cruise.

I don't play in the casino and I got a free cruise a couple of years ago. Nowhere on the offer was the casino even mentioned. I got it through snail mail. :)

I sailed on the Sunshine in February along with a group of 10 friends. Out of this group, 3 of us got bounce back offers and all booked cruises within a few days of returning from the Sunshine cruise. All 3 of us were the ones who spent the most time in the casino but I really never spent a ton of money there. I played the slots and would win and lose and go back and forth like that for several days. On the last evening of the cruise was a drawing for a cruise give away that I attended in the casino. Well, non of our group who gambled won at the drawing but when we went to our cabins that night, all had offers for a bounce back and we all booked. We couldn't go the same week because of work conflicts etc. but we all are sailing with a guest this summer. It seems to me the offer had a deadline of sailing by October and booking within a couple of weeks of getting home.

What's better than a cruise...??? How about a free one!

I would say if you spend 400 per day in casino you would get the bounce back. My wife received bounce back on last two cruises, that's about what she spends per day.

$400 a day?! Even if it's a 4 day cruise, that's $1600 spent in the casino and you can go on a cruise for cheaper than that. I did get a free cruise offer, and took it, 2 years ago. We never get a casino card so I'm not sure why I got the offer, but it was amazing!

"Spend" does not equate to "loss".

I have spent $2,000 in the casino, but won $5,000. Still got a bounce back offer based on play (not loss).

My DH NEVER used chips to buy in at the table. Each night he would cash out his chips for money. Also, whenever he would get a green or black chip he would pocket it rather than leave it on the table to be colored up at the end of the night. This way, the dealer/pit boss never really knew how much he walked away with each night. That strategy seems to have worked for him, as his/our play was the same as it's been for the past 5 or 6 cruises and this is the first time he's gotten a BB offer. This was the first time he tried that strategy.

This is the strategy I use, and we're leaving on our third BB offer next month. I always buy in for cash (sometimes via SS card), stow the larger chips when I can, and walk away 'empty'. Go to the booth and cash in chips for cash. Cash goes in an envelope to pay credit card for SS charges at home. Rinse. repeat. I'm definitely NOT a high roller, but I DO tip the dealers $1 pretty often. That makes dealers AND bosses happy to see me.

It really depends on where they have availability. And availability changes frequently. I got a bounce back in late January. When I called, one cruise on my offer that I was interested in was already gone. But when I looked online the following day, there were more ships and sail dates available. So I booked Alaska from that offer and will leave in a couple weeks. I purposely have not booked any other cruises since then because I never get bounce back offers if I already have another cruise booked. So from my 5 night cruise where I got the bounce back offer, I ended up booking a 7 night cruise on the bounce back offer.

I got a Norwegian cruise free offer from Harrahs land based a couple weeks ago, but it is for the same week I'm already cruising to Alaska, so I couldn't book it.

That seems to be the strategy to use. Also, when we buy in, DH will buy in for $150 and I will buy in for $50. During the course of the night, he will "give" me the $50 he purchased for me. I let most of the purchasing go on his card as I am ALWAYS the lead passenger on our future bookings, so I NEVER will get a BB offer.

Like you, we bet for the dealers pretty regularly (especially if we're on a good roll). We both bet progressively, so as soon as we get over our minimum bet, a dollar ALWAYS go out for the dealers. You're correct about the dealers/pit bosses knowing who bets for them, as they always seem to know us by name by the second night :)

When you get a BB offer is it good for a certain level room? Like an inside and then if you want OV etc you pay for the difference?

We've been offered free slot tournament entries a couple of times, free drinks coupons when they had them, but no BB. Not sure why we were offered anything free since we don't gamble much at all but it was nice.

We were only offered an inside cabin. I'm not sure if your category of cabin goes up with your level of play. Maybe someone else can chime in and let us know.

Our offers have always been for free inside. However we always bump it up to at least an ocean view or higher. If you do that, the cruise nights count towards your VIFP status.

Cruise nights count towards vifp status, even without upgrading to an oceanview or higher.

I received a bounce back offer on the Legend last week. I lost so much money they felt sorry for me.

My son and I are going on the Ecstasy in August. Not my first choice, but this is the only cruise that would work in my schedule through December.

Hey, it's free. I can't complain!

I got a BB offer for a free inside room. Not planning of going to any cruise this year because we just booked a Hawaiian cruise next year. My husband said just to look and see. I was able to use it but pay for an upgrade. Captain's Suite Carnival Valor, Sept 4, 2016. Sweet!!!

Congratulations! I'm so happy Carnival is taking care of their casino players.
