robtx100 Posted October 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2005 We have been on 5 Carnival, 1 Norwegian, 1 RCCI cruises. We are now seriously considering Grand for January 28th sailing. I like the suites at the back of the ship. 1: Can anyone tell if 3 would be comfortable in a suite (not mini)? 2: I noticed the V.I.P. page at the back of one of the Carnival magazines. Would we get any past guest perks from having sailed on Carnival 5 times? Any help would be appreciated.
cherylandtk Posted October 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2005 There are no real perks for being a past Carnival guest--sorry--that VIP page is just for some pricing, and you can already get that with a good TA. The full suites are quite nice, and the aft ones provide a wonderful, calming view. I assume you are thinking of a PS or VS? The size is about 500 ft, with a queen bed and a sofa in the sitting area, although it is not a separate room with complete privacy. There is plenty of space for three people, however. nancyrg Posted October 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2005 we have stayed 3 of us in an aft suite on the Grand Princess. There was plenty of space and the balcony was very large-we enjoyed that a lot.
