Email from Carnival 2/13/16 at 11:30pm:

"Due to adverse weather conditions with strong winds and high sea swells on our way back to Baltimore, I am sorry to say, our arrival will be somewhat delayed tomorrow. At the present time, we are estimating an arrival around midday, however we will provide you with an update tomorrow morning no later than 9:00 AM."

For several years now it is always hit or miss with the ship returning on time out of Baltimore. I have done two cruises out of Baltimore and have an 0-2 record for ship returning on time. Hoping to make it 0-3 in April. :)

I agree, this will be our second out of five Pride cruises that would have been delayed. Looks like the Pride is about an two hours out.

Update this just in:

"As you may know, we experienced adverse weather conditions on our way into port. In addition, we also experienced a minor technical issue causing us to slightly reduce our maximum cruising speed. Rest assured all safety systems and hotel services are operating normally. We now expect to arrive at approximately 11:15 AM."

Based on that, probably looking at a 3:00 - 3:30 embarkation start time.

Last cruise out of Baltimore did not return until 12:00. We chose not to do self-assist as we only live 90 minutes away. We probably had one of the last zone numbers and we were called off the ship around 2:45.

CCL is giving us a sail-n-sign credit. "We invite you to visit the local "Inner Harbor" located just minutes away from the terminal. There, you can take advantage of a variety of dining and shopping venues. We will post a $15.00 per person credit to your Sail & Sign account so you can enjoy lunch on us today."

While the $15.00 credit is nice, they do realize it is currently 16 degrees out (feels like 4 degrees) with an anticipated high of 24 degrees for today. The Inner Harbor is the last place I would be going today. :D

I agree, it is a bit cold today. That is why I'm hoping for an interior muster drill. Since the ship was scheduled for a much earlier arrival (I think 8:30) I was wondering if CCL would offer anything to the folks leaving the ship today since some may miss connections to return home.

Don't bother showing up till 3pm the police wont let you in to park so we went down the road doubled parked and will stay till someone tells us to move. Its too cold out to walk around the inner harbor. We already went to walmart to kill time and ate lunch at Dennys.

Wow - we were delayed boarding on 12/6/15 and no OBC was offered at all - our boarding actually was delayed until almost 6pm! We didn't sail until after 10pm.

Have sailed with RCCL out of Baltimore three times and only once were we delayed returning - and that was because Grandeur broke a prop in Cozumel and CG wanted her escorted up the bay by two tugs (which held our speed down to 10 knots rather than the usual 18 knots they do up the bay).
