cruiseintoheaven Posted February 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Help please......have been trying to talk sister in law to join us on our upcoming cruise to Alaska. She'd be sailing solo and her budget/preference is an oceanview. She's working with a travel agent and has narrowed her choices down to either P312 (not obstructed) and E627 (partially obstructed). Her main concern is a quiet location.....any thoughts? Thanks!

Astro Flyer Posted February 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Here's a link to views from obstructed oceanview cabins & E627 will mostly have a view of a lifeboat. There would be cabins above & it appears to be the Photo Gallery below it. https://sites.google.com/site/cabinviewbyrenmar/crown-princess/cabins-601--633 I've stayed in cabin in the P200 range which was under a portion of the Princess Theater but didn't have any noise issues. P312 is under the Casino & may have more noise issues but it is conveniently located close to the atrium and the International Café. There are pros & cons to both cabins however if those were my options I'd probably get E627. Neither cabin has a great oceanview & I'd be more concerned about noise from the Casino than from the hallway area by the Photo Gallery. Good info to consider.....I try to use Renmars site and also visually line up what's up/down from any cabin I'm considering, but sometimes it's just a crapshoot. Glad you mentioned the potential for noise from the casino as I may have steered her there for the novelty of it (we've never stayed on the Plaza deck but think it looks interesting. Thanks again. Coolmama_1 Posted February 14, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2016 We have stayed in both areas of the ship and we would prefer the Plaza deck. It is so convenient to the International Cafe, dining rooms etc.
