I understand Santa Claus House closed in Ketchikan this fall. Does anyone know if it will reopen under new management of if another one will open? Our special needs daughter loves Santa and we would like for her to have that experience in Alaska.

Haven't heard of a Santa in Ketchikan just the one in North Pole near Fairbanks. The Chamber of Commerce should have info.

I don't purchase many Christmas ornaments anymore, but there was a Christmas store in Ketchikan. It may still be there and I have just walked by. But I was inside about five or six years ago, and certainly don't remember it having a "Santa" staff member.

I can't get the picture to upload, but I have a picture of me on Santa's lap in the Christmas Store. I emailed them and was told they closed at the end of the 2015 season. Didn't know if it had been bought out by another investor.

I have been to Ketchikan many times and have never seen this store that you describe.
